About Scorched Earth
'Scorched Earth' is the name of my professional studio practice.
I'm an Earth sign (Capricorn) with Capricorn rising; the Sun, Moon and Mercury in Capricorn in the first house; and fiery Mars in Aries in the fourth. Just as intense heat transforms clay and sand into the practical materials I work with every day, Mars adds warmth, energy and drive to my pragmatic nature. I'm very grounded, but I also have a deeply spiritual and creative side - and a fierce passion for everything I turn my hand to. Although a student at present, I am happy to undertake commissions for gifts in glass, ceramics, crafts or fine art. I expect to expand my studio practice after the end of my degree and will keep you updated on my progress via this website.
